What's App: Apprenticeship Tales is a comic strip for youth with disabilities to learn more about the benefits of apprenticeship programs. This comic strip was funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. It was a collaborative effort between the Rural Youth Apprenticeship Development Project (NIDILRR grant # 90DPK00006-01-00) and the Center on Knowledge Translation for Employment Research (NIDILRR grant # 90DPEM0004).

On June 30, the U.S. Department of Labor released the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) final regulations. As one of the core programs under WIOA, the public vocational rehabilitation (VR) system is feeling the impact of several new legal requirements.
