Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies have developed different structures for business engagement (BE) activities. We understand there is rarely a completely rigid structure for business engagement activities. The BE structure that most closely describes how your agency has organized BE activities.

WVDRS is shifting our focus to more direct services to employers. Specifically focusing on the hiring of individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to create a more robust hiring environment and develop strong working relationships with area, state wide, and national business platforms.

The West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services has a Unified State Plan, that has been approved. The Unified State Plan includes multiple partnerships that are key in the vocational rehabilitation process. Data integration meetings occur on a regular basis, concerning sharing relevant data elements between WorkForce WV and the Division. Eventually data will be seamlessly shared to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive as many appropriate services as possible from all partners in the Unified State Plan.
