Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies have developed different structures for business engagement (BE) activities. We understand there is rarely a completely rigid structure for business engagement activities. The BE structure that most closely describes how your agency has organized BE activities.
Regional Business Relations Model: BE is primarily the responsibility of dedicated business specialists located throughout the state.

Currently, the manager of our BE program has 3 separate roles, including BE. We are moving to hiring one manager for just our BE Program and looking at new ways in which to utilize our team the best best capacity.

Additional information about how your agency is structuring BE as a part of the WIOA partnership.
Our agency is actually moving to having one position for WIOA partnerships and other stakeholders. This position will work closely with the new manager of the BE team to ensure strategic alignment and clear communication is occurring throughout the agency on the work the BE team is doing. Our BE team is regularly involved in WFC business services meeting, Sector initiatives and WFB committees.
