On June 30, the U.S. Department of Labor released the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) final regulations. As one of the core programs under WIOA, the public vocational rehabilitation (VR) system is feeling the impact of several new legal requirements.

Susan Foley and Julisa Cully presented on the Research and Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) on VR Program Management. They provided an overview of the center and discussed how they are looking at QA from a management perspective. They provided recommendations for how program evaluators and QA specialists may be able to use the RTAC.

Susan Foley, Robert Burns, and John Halliday from the ICI presented to the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR) the case study findings from VR-RTAC. This presentation focused on illustrating the case study findings on effective VR program management practices.
